FieldTech Ops Terms of Use

Effective Date: July 2026

By installing, accessing, or using FieldTech Ops, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use. If you are using FieldTech Ops on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on behalf of that organization.

1. Description of the Application

FieldTech Ops is an offline-first field operations application designed to support technician workflow tracking, travel and work-time documentation, GPS-supported activity records, work-order reporting, company configuration, and operational exports.

FieldTech Ops is a recordkeeping and workflow tool. It does not make employment, payroll, legal, compliance, disciplinary, safety, or business decisions on behalf of an organization.

2. Authorized Use

Subject to compliance with these Terms, FieldTech Ops grants authorized users a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable right to install and use the application for legitimate internal business and operational purposes.

No ownership interest in FieldTech Ops is transferred to any user or organization.

3. Organizational Responsibility

The organization using FieldTech Ops is responsible for:

4. Customer and Organizational Data

The organization retains ownership of the operational information that its authorized users enter, create, or record through FieldTech Ops, including technician names, work-order information, job information, time records, GPS coordinates, notes, change requests, and other organization-specific operational information.

The organization is responsible for the legality, accuracy, completeness, quality, and appropriateness of its operational data and for obtaining any permissions or consents required to create or use that data.

5. FieldTech Ops Intellectual Property

FieldTech Ops and its owner(s) retain all right, title, and interest in and to the application and all related intellectual property, including:

All rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved by FieldTech Ops and its owner(s).

6. Exported Data and Export Formats

The organization owns the underlying operational data contained in reports, spreadsheets, support-history files, configuration files, and other exports generated through FieldTech Ops.

FieldTech Ops retains ownership of the proprietary formatting, report layout, template design, field arrangement, workflow structure, branding, and software-generated presentation used to create or organize those exports.

An organization's ownership of its operational data does not transfer ownership of the FieldTech Ops software, export system, report design, templates, branding, or other intellectual property.

Organizations may use generated exports for their legitimate internal business, payroll, accounting, documentation, customer-service, auditing, and recordkeeping purposes.

7. Export and Transmission Responsibility

Exporting, emailing, sharing, uploading, transferring, copying, or otherwise transmitting data outside FieldTech Ops is controlled by the user or organization.

Once data leaves the application, the organization assumes responsibility for the transmission method, recipients, storage location, access controls, disclosure, retention, security, accuracy, and lawful use of that data.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FieldTech Ops is not responsible for interception, unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, alteration, corruption, loss, duplication, or distribution occurring after information has been exported or transmitted outside the application.

8. Support Assist and Administrative Functions

FieldTech Ops may include support, recovery, configuration, auditing, security, and administrative functions. These functions may generate local support-history or administrative records for system integrity, troubleshooting, accountability, and support purposes.

Support access does not transfer ownership of the organization's operational data to FieldTech Ops.

The organization must authorize any operational, configuration, support, or administrative information it voluntarily provides outside the application for support purposes.

9. Prohibited Conduct

Users and organizations may not:

10. Record Accuracy and Business Decisions

FieldTech Ops records information based on user input, device operation, location availability, operating-system behavior, and authorized workflow actions.

Organizations are responsible for reviewing records and exports before using them for payroll, billing, employment actions, compliance, disciplinary matters, customer disputes, audits, or other material decisions.

FieldTech Ops records events and produces reports. The organization, not FieldTech Ops, makes and remains responsible for its business and personnel decisions.

11. Availability, Updates, and Changes

FieldTech Ops may be updated, modified, suspended, replaced, or discontinued as development and operational requirements change. Features may be added, removed, restricted, or altered.

FieldTech Ops does not guarantee that every feature will remain available or function identically across all devices, operating systems, versions, permission settings, or deployment environments.

12. Third-Party Platforms and Services

FieldTech Ops may depend on or interact with third-party platforms, operating systems, application stores, build services, device services, email applications, sharing tools, storage providers, or other software.

FieldTech Ops does not control and is not responsible for the availability, security, performance, policies, or conduct of third-party platforms or services.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FieldTech Ops is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

FieldTech Ops does not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, compatible with every device, or suitable for every organization's specific legal, payroll, compliance, operational, or business requirements.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FieldTech Ops and its owner(s) shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, lost data, payroll disputes, employment claims, customer disputes, or business interruption arising from or related to use of the application.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

15. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organization agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FieldTech Ops and its owner(s) from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and reasonable expenses arising from the organization's unlawful use of the application, violation of these Terms, misuse of exported information, violation of another person's rights, or failure to obtain required authorization or consent.

16. Termination of Use

Authorization to use FieldTech Ops may be suspended or terminated if the application is used unlawfully, in violation of these Terms, or in a way that threatens the integrity, security, ownership, or operation of the application.

Sections concerning ownership, intellectual property, exported data, liability, disclaimers, and indemnification survive termination.

17. Privacy

Use of FieldTech Ops is also subject to the FieldTech Ops Privacy Policy.

18. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated as FieldTech Ops changes. Revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
